Syrmel is a young, average sized, male Gargoyle with blue skin and fair
hair. Like most Gargoyles, Syrmel always protects those in need. Honor and
honesty are paramount in his beliefs, and he will never resort to violence
unless provoked.
Syrmel is naturally curious. His curiosity prompts him to dabble in
various things, and through his tinkering he has gained a limited
understanding of modern technology. He is always looking for chances to
acquire more knowledge or improve his magic abilities.
After the Archmage's attack on Avalon, Syrmel witnessed the death of the
Magus and in watching his rookery sister Angela leave, he decided that he
should leave, too.
Avalon's magic sent Syrmel to various places around the world. In these
places he had to prove his courage and test his knowledge. During his long
travel, he once had the opportunity to observe members of the Illuminati,
and learned more about Wyvern, the clan in Manhattan, and David Xanatos.
Avalon then called him back due to the return of Oberon, Titania and their
children, The Third Race to the magical island.
Not long after The Gathering, he left Avalon again to continue his
odyssee. Upon arriving in California, Syrmel met one of Oberon's Children
which freed him from his magical journey. There, Syrmel found a place to
live, watching over the men at night.
And, Syrmel also found love there in a Gargoyle named Demonalisa.
